Cubs are boys and girls aged between 8 to 10½ years. We have one Cub Pack who meet on Tuesdays between 6:30pm and 7:30pm, during term time; normally at the Scout Hut, Westwood Park, Little Chalfont Nature Park or one of the local Scout Camp sites.
Cub Scouts take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging including games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors. They also take part in the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers which are some of the most memorable events of the year for Cubs.
The Cub Scout Law & Promise All cubs should learn the Cub Scout Law and Promise before their investiture. The Cub Promise is different to the Beaver Promise they may already know.
The Cub Scout Law Cub Scouts always do their best, Think of others before themselves, And do a good turn every day.
The Cub Scout Promise I promise that I will do my best To do my duty to God and to The Queen, To help other people And to keep the Cub Scout Law.
Cub Badges Please find below links for information on the badges Cubs can work on (Activity, Staged and Challenge). There is also a link giving information on where to get uniform and where badges go. Many of these are covered, either completely or in part, during Cub sessions (details of which are covered each term are included in the program). Cubs are also invited to work towards other badges outside of the weekly sessions as we can't cover them all.
