Squirrels are Scouts newest section, having started in 2021, for boys and girls aged between 4 and 6. We are in the process of opening a Squirrel Drey.
We would probably plan to run the Squirrels before one of our other section meetings (Cubs are on Tuesdays at 6:30, Scouts are on Wednesdays at 6:30 and Beavers are on Thursdays at 6pm; term time only). The day and time will be decided once we have a team, to work best for them.
The one-hour sessions will be a brilliant opportunity for the young members to take their first step into being part of Scouts, and they’ll help everyone get ready for the adventure of school too. Squirrels sessions will be packed with outdoors activities, fun, games, badges, laughter, and so much more to help our youngest members learn the skills they need for life.
Of course, none of it would be possible without the support of the amazing leaders who plan and deliver such an inspiring program.
